LE FILM - SYNOPSIS ET DÉTAILS DU FILM

The Wind that Shakes the Barley, film en français - Irlande, 1920. Deux frères enrôler dans la lutte contre la guérilla contre les troupes britanniques essayant d'empêcher l'indépendance irlandaise. L'amour pour son pays fait Damien (Cillian Murphy) abandonne sa carrière naissante en tant que médecin et rejoint son frère Teddy (Liam Cunningham) dans la lutte pour la liberté. Après avoir subi plusieurs défaites et un nombre effrayant de victimes, le gouvernement britannique a décidé de négocier avec les rebelles pour mettre fin au conflit sanglant. Mais l'accord conclu entre les Irlandais de division et conduit à une nouvelle et fratricide conflit.
