The Sweet Hereafter, film en français - Adaptation de "Le joueur de flûte de Hamelin". Un autobus scolaire plonge montagne et coule dans un lac gelé. Dans l'accident tous les enfants du village meurent. Le procureur interviews Mitchell Stevens avec les parents, rouvre les blessures du passé et propose de porter l'affaire devant les tribunaux.
