The Night of the Hunter, film en français - Suite à un vol dans lequel deux personnes ont trouvé la mort, Ben Harper revient à la maison et se cacher le butin confiant le secret de leurs enfants. En prison, avant d'être exécuté, partage une cellule avec Harry Powell et les rêves de parler d'argent. Après avoir été libéré, Powell, obsédé par saisir le butin, aller à la ville de Harper, sa veuve tombe amoureux et l'épouse.
