Comme un jeune médecin, Nathan se retrouve en doute son choix de carrière, alors il va dans sa ville natale à la recherche de l'âme et de renouer avec son père. Une fois à la maison, un roman d'épanouissement avec le professeur Megan Sullivan (Rebecca Gayheart, Vanished) et une amitié rapide avec étudiant Charlie Bennett (Angus T. Jones, Mon Oncle Charlie) Nathan enseigne à vivre la vie dans l'instant et embrasser le temps qu'il ahs avec des amis et la famille.
