Road to Perdition, film en français - Dans les années sombres de la Grande Dépression, Michael Sullivan (Tom Hanks) est un meurtrier qui professe la loyauté indéfectible à son patron, M. Rooney (Paul Newman), et dans le même temps, un bon père. Les temps sont durs à Rock Island, où il domine la mafia irlandaise, interdiction continue et gangsters, en particulier Al Capone à Chicago, sont au sommet du pouvoir. Mais un jour, de manière inattendue, l'enfant de douze ans, fils de ce meurtrier pour la location, Michael Jr. (Tyler Hoechlin), décide de suivre son père pour voir exactement ce que leur travail.
