Perth, film en français - Perth est le voyage dans le c?ur de Harry Lee, 51 ans, à temps partiel garde de sécurité et un chauffeur de taxi. Il appartient à une génération redondante, éclipsée par une société élitiste rythme rapide qui est fasciné par l'éducation et le statut. Harry veut quitter les rues antiseptiques de Singapour pour son paradis sur terre en Australie occidentale. Sa tentative de migrer est compliqué quand il prend un emploi transportant prostituées. Ce évoque des souvenirs douloureux de son passé. Quand il prend un intérêt malsain pour une prostituée vietnamienne, elle éveille une tentative sombre et dangereux de rédemption personnelle. Le film aborde un sujet d'une actualité brûlante de l'émigration à Singapour. Il est truffé d'habitants du ventre de la société de Singapour, reflétant les particularités multiculturelles d'une ville d'apparence immaculée. Plus important encore, il est un voyage personnel d'un homme imparfait dans une société qui ne tolère pas l'échec ...
