Island in the Sun, film en français - Adapté d'un roman de Alec Waugh. Personnages divers se rencontrent dans l'île caribéenne de Santa Marta, où un conflit politique entre un planteur blanc et raciste et un candidat noir et progressiste développe. Ce film a été très controversé en son temps pour présenter les relations entre les personnages de races différentes, a été boycottée par le Ku Klux Klan et interdit en Caroline du Sud.
