I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With, film en français - La vie a ses bas pour James, vivant avec sa mère à Chicago, à 39, un artiste vieillissement à Second City, manger et pesant trop. Une femme qu'il fréquentait lui tombe, tout comme son agent, son frère. James refuse rôles dans la télévision locale, des rôles qui le rendent triste. Quelqu'un refaire son film préféré, "Marty", un rôle qu'il adorerait, mais il n'a même pas obtenir une audition.
