Emperor of the North Pole, film en français - Oregon, 1933. Parmi les sans-abri sans travail pendant la Grande Dépression, passant d'un état à un autre train voyageant clandestinement, numéro un est l'empereur du Nord (Marvin), nommé pour sa ruse pour déjouer rail. Deux hommes aspirer à arracher le titre, mais cela devra venir à Portland dans le train Sack (Borgnine), un opérateur sadique et impitoyable. Inspiré par les aventures de Jack London.
