Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, film en français - Dick Van Dyke étoiles que l'inventeur excentrique nom Caractacus Potts, qui parvient à transformer une vieille voiture de course (à l'origine appelé "Paragon Panther") dans un véhicule qui pourrait voler et flotter sur l'eau qu'il a appelé Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Avec cette voiture se déplace avec son père (Lionel Jeffries), les enfants (Heather Ripley et Adrian Hall) et sa belle amour (Sally Ann Howes) dans le monde magique de pirates, de châteaux et d'innombrables aventures vivent. Ensemble, ils font face à la Baron Bomburst (Gert Fröbe) et d'autres méchants. À noter dans le casting James Robertson Justice dans le rôle de Lorde Délicieux aussi.
