A Story for the Modlins, film en français - «Une histoire pour le Modlins 'raconte l'histoire d'Elmer et Margaret Nelson Modlin. Après être apparu dans 'La graine du mal »de Roman Polanski, Elmer a fui avec sa femme et son fils à l'Espagne. Enfermé dans une sombre appartement dans le centre de Madrid, Margaret a commencé à peindre l'apocalypse à venir, et Nelson Elmer prenant comme modèles. Donc, il était depuis trente ans, jusqu'à la mort les a surpris presque simultanément. Un jour, en 2003, des centaines de photographies et de documents de la famille intimes apparu couché sur le trottoir comme un puzzle, attendant que quelqu'un d'imaginer «une histoire à l'Modlin».
