LE FILM - SYNOPSIS ET DÉTAILS DU FILM
A Woman of Independent Means, film en français - Bess Steed épouse son amour d'enfance dans la première partie du 20e siècle et le début d'une vie dans la haute société de Dallas, au Texas. Comme le temps passe, les choses ne fonctionnent pas comme elle attend. Son mari meurt de la grippe, et elle découvre qu'elle doit ramasser et transporter avec sa vie. Elle se révèle être un fort, engagé, et d'aimer personne qui attire de nouveaux amours dans sa vie et trouve qu'elle peut prendre soin des anciens. Malgré une nouvelle tragédie dans la perte de son fils aîné, et un deuxième mariage qui est non tout ce qu'elle attend qu'elle soit elle continue à survivre en tant indépendamment comme elle a découvert le courage de le faire.
