Home Town Story, film en français - Blake Washburn blâme fabricant MacFarland de sa défaite dans la course à la réélection à la législature de l'État. Il prend en charge le journal de son oncle à prendre sur les grandes entreprises comme un ennemi du peuple. Mlle Martin travaille dans le bureau du journal "Herald". Lorsque la tragédie frappe, Blake doit réexaminer son point de vue.
